SHE is midway through her Eras tour of America but that hasn’t stopped Taylor Swift from nipping across the Pond to Liverpool to film a new music video.

I can reveal she spent 48 hours there last week, shooting at Scouse land-marks St George’s Hall and the Cunard Building.

I’m told that Hollywood actress Joey King — who starred opposite Brad Pitt in last year’s comedy thriller Bullet Train — was also on set as she features in the promo.

Taylor was inspired by Robert Pattinson’s 2022 movie The Batman, which also features the same famous buildings.

A source revealed: “Taylor loves the history of the landmarks and was excited to film somewhere completely different and unexpected.

“She had a break in her touring schedule so decided to use the time to get another video in the bag. She’s feeling more creative and inspired than ever.

“Her shoot was an incredibly slick operation, with little fuss. Staff on site were politely asked not to have their phones on them and to sign non-disclosure agreements.”

It’s not the first time American Joey has appeared in one of Taylor’s music videos — the actress also starred, as a child, in the promo for the star’s 2010 hit Mean.

My source said of their latest collaboration: “Taylor loves a throwback, and is excited to celebrate Joey as her acting career has flourished.”

Taylor will not be performing again until Thursday, in Tampa, Florida, so is likely to be spending a quiet Easter in London with Brit actor beau Joe Alwyn, who has been busy shooting his latest movie.

The pair have previously spent time at a £7million rented townhouse in the capital’s Primrose Hill.

It’s exciting times for Liverpool because next month the Eurovision Song Contest also descends on the city, which is hosting on behalf of war-torn Ukraine.

SPORTS host Ade Adepitan has ruled himself out of taking part in Strictly – saying his wife would not be keen.

The telly presenter revealed he thought it was a great idea to introduce a wheelchair user to the contest but didn’t fancy getting up close and personal with a pro dancer.

Ade married singer Linda Harrison back in 2018 and they have a son. Speaking at the RTS Programme Awards, where he won Best Sports Presenter, Ade told me: “Strictly sounds like a lot of hard work and my missus wouldn’t be keen.

"We’ve been together for ten years – we’d have to have a serious conversation if I were to do it.

“Strictly’s proper hard work, I only dance after a few drinks!”

Presenter Sophie Morgan is now in the frame after reports show bosses want to cast the contest’s first wheelchair user.

JESSIE WARE and Glee star Amber Riley are set to be judges for new ITV talent contest Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream.

The show, hosted by Zoe Ball, will see musical theatre hopefuls battle to land the lead roles of Sophie and Sky in a new West End production based on the hit ABBA film.

An insider said: “Amber and Jessie are perfect for the show, given their performing backgrounds and experience as judges.

“The show is all about giving rising stars the tools they need to tread the boards, and Amber and Jessie will definitely have all the words of wisdom.”

Amber, who played Mercedes Jones in Glee, appeared as a judge on BBC musical theatre talent show Let In Shine in 2017 while Jessie has featured on the panel of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.

HE excitedly announced his engagement last autumn, but love’s young dream is all over for Coronation Street actor Alex Bain.

The star, who has played Simon Barlow on the ITV soap for 15 years, has split from fiancée Mollie Lockwood.
